Shira (Poetry)

The pianist Shira Legman plays Olivier Messiaen’s piece Le baiser de l'Enfant-Jésus (The Kiss of Infant Jesus).
The performance artist Gabrielle Neuhaus also “plays” the piece,

in her own way.
Their combined activity is as a different view on Messian’s work.  
Olivier Messiaen's Le baiser de l'Enfant-Jésus (The Kiss of Infant Jesus) is taken from Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus (Twenty Contemplations on the Infant Jesus, composed in 1944), which is a collection of short pieces that depict images or spiritual stages in Jesus’ progression.
